We are seeking a highly skilled EPC Project Manager for our client's Solar Power projects in Taiwan. As a key member of the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of large-scale Solar Power plant projects, ensuring seamless execution from Ready-to-Build (RTB) to Provisional Acceptance (PAC).
Responsibilities:
EPC Project Management:
Lead the management of EPC project programs, overseeing multi-expertise project teams and project contracts in Taiwan.
Handle project preparation and execution, ensuring cross-functional coordination, including contract management and fulfillment of additional project requirements (e.g., lease, insurances, H&S, licenses, local entity set-up, taxes & duties, logistics).
Business Development Support:
Collaborate with the Business Development team to assess project feasibility, coordinating technical studies, surveys, or design optimization.
Identify project risks, define design concepts, and establish EPC setups.
Tendering and Decision-making:
Prepare, execute, and evaluate turnkey EPC and O&M tenders, providing decision-basis for EPCM projects.
Identify partners and prepare setups to act as EPC and O&M contractor in selected markets.
Stakeholder Communication:
Lead communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management and Troubleshooting:
Implement risk management strategies and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring effective problem-solving.
Project Accountability:
Accountable for the cost, timeline, and quality of EPC projects, ensuring constant updates.
Coordination and Reporting:
Coordinate acceptance procedures and handovers to the Asset Management, O&M, and Post-Construction teams.
Report regularly to the project director and senior management.
Requirements :
Academic degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical or Civil, with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
Well-developed intercultural skills and strong communication skills with a systematic organizational approach.
Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders to international standards.
Technical understanding of renewable energy, preferably solar.
Experience in contract management and proficiency in English
Willingness to travel, with prior experience in EPC projects in Energy or Infrastructure in Southeast Asia.
Excellent networking, leadership, negotiation, and time management skills.
Must have work rights in Taiwan.
