Position Overview:
As a Solar Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing solar energy projects across Vietnam, Indonesia, and Australia. Based in Singapore, you will lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful execution of projects from inception to completion, while adhering to quality, safety, and timeline objectives.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local communities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, technicians, and project staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify opportunities for professional development.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Implement quality control measures to uphold industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor project progress, safety protocols, and environmental compliance.
- Ensure adherence to relevant permits, licenses, and certifications throughout the project lifecycle.
Financial Management:
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare regular financial reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering to maximize project profitability.
Travel Requirements:
- Frequent travel to project sites in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Australia to oversee construction activities, attend meetings, and liaise with local partners and stakeholders.
