We have a current opportunity for a Sr Electrical Engineer on a permanent basis. The position is fully remote flexible or has the option for a hybrid work-schedule based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as Project Engineer for a range of projects, from routine to complex, including both single-discipline and multi-discipline projects.
- Serves as the lead engineer, coordinating efforts with other disciplines on projects.
- Interfaces with clients and vendors as necessary.
- Assists in developing proposals and project documentation, including estimating engineering manhours and construction costs for project scope.
- Familiar with other disciplines and conducts inter-discipline reviews.
- Coordinates all aspects of project document completion both internally and with clients and design professionals.
- Reviews the work of the project design team, monitors progress, and informs the Project Manager of any necessary changes to scope or services.
- Conducts field measurements independently and may provide training to others.
- Collaborates with code officials and design professionals when building code interpretations or exceptions are needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree required, with specialization in the electrical discipline
- 5+ years of previous consulting or facilities engineering/design experience.
- Substation Physical Design and/or Protection & Control experience is a must
- PE License required or EIT Certification with the ability to obtain a P.E. License within 2 years
- Knowledgeable of AutoCAD
