Our client are seeking a Project Manager to lead hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses and oversee stormwater management projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in flood damage reduction, stormwater mitigation, and regional watershed planning, along with a strong background in project management and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead H&H analysis and develop technical reports for urban and regional flood damage reduction projects.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget for stormwater projects.
- Oversee studies related to storm sewer networks, detention basins, channel construction, and erosion prevention.
- Provide technical leadership in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, report writing, and stormwater facility planning.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and scientists across disciplines.
- Support client presentations, stakeholder communication, and project coordination.
- Some travel may be required.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Texas P.E. License and ability to obtain Texas CFM certification within one year.
- 10-15 years of experience in stormwater projects, including H&H analysis.
- Experience managing a team of stormwater professionals.
- Proficiency in H&H software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (steady, unsteady, 1D, 2D), ICPR4, XP-SWMM, ArcGIS, and StormCAD.
- Strong report writing and technical documentation skills.
- Experience in multi-benefit urban stormwater projects and regional flood planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to clients and stakeholders.
- Critical thinking skills to develop solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
