Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical documents, reports, designs, and specifications for projects of varying complexity.
- Assist Project Managers in adhering to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with sub-consultants and lead design efforts for assigned projects.
- Review calculations and design concepts to ensure quality control.
- Provide technical input for proposals and participate in client meetings and presentations.
- Conduct fieldwork including surveying, infrastructure inspections, and construction observation.
- Support construction administration by tracking submittals and preparing reports.
- Mentor entry-level engineers and interns, fostering positive working relationships.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 4-15 years of experience
- Registered Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida or able to obtain this in the next 12 months
- Written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Independent decision making with the ability to grow
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCad
