Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead structural engineer for assigned projects, overseeing all structural engineering activities.
- Develop and conduct detailed analysis of industrial structures for various facilities, including Manufacturing, Process, and Renewable Natural Gas facilities.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as STAAD Pro to perform modeling and analysis, ensuring structural integrity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards, including IBC/ASCE7, AWSD1.1, AISI, AISC 360/341, and ACI 318.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to coordinate and integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
- Review and approve design/fabrication drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct periodic site visits to assess structural integrity and evaluate necessary modifications.
- Foster a positive working environment by promoting collaboration and effective communication within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on experience in the design of industrial steel structures.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD, RAM, or RISA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex structural challenges.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD preferred, with the ability to interpret design drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with project teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
