- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and drafters in the planning, design, and construction of high-voltage substations.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve complex engineering challenges during design and construction phases.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with established clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality standards to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The Substation Engineering Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (PE Preferred) .
- 10+ years of experience in substation design experience.
- Mastery of software for substation design and familiarity with standards in the industry.
- Ability to strive in an environment where problem-solving and decision-making is very relevant.
- Experience working with high voltage systems.
- Comfortable with travel MAXIMUM one a month.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
