The top geospatial and inspection firm in the US is looking to welcome a Survey Project Manager to their Washington State team. As a key member of their team, you will oversee surveying operations, manage a team of surveyors, and ensure the successful execution of land surveying projects. Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall surveying department, including planning, organizing, and directing survey activities.
- Lead and mentor a team of surveyors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.
- Oversee the execution of land surveying projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop survey methodologies, techniques, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review and interpret legal descriptions, plats, deeds, and other land-related documents.
- Coordinate with Washington, Idaho, and Utah Survey Teams.
- Utilize surveying tools, equipment, and software to perform boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and other surveying tasks.
- Analyze and process survey data, prepare reports, maps, and drawings, and ensure proper documentation of survey activities.
Qualifications:
- Washington State PLS or the ability to become licensed in Utah within six months.
- Strong technical knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and equipment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, GPS/RTK and Robotic Total Station is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
