Our client, a leader in low voltage technology solutions, is seeking a skilled Technology Designer (RCDD) to join their innovative team in Denver, Colorado. This role offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week. The successful candidate will focus on designing low voltage systems, including structured cabling, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design low voltage systems, including structured cabling, AV, security, and telecommunications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Develop detailed system designs, including layouts, specifications, and documentation to support installation and implementation.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure designs are accurately executed and meet client expectations.
- Conduct site assessments and create tailored solutions based on the unique needs of each project.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports and system documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in low voltage system design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.
- 5+ years of experience in designing low voltage systems.
- Expertise in structured cabling, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and effective designs.
