We are looking for a highly driven Traffic Engineer to join our team in one of their several offices including Washington DC, Fairfax, Tysons, or Bethesda. Responsibilities:
As the Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for performing traffic engineering design, including signing, pavement marking, traffic signals, roadway, parking and pathway lighting and ITS field equipment. You will also be responsible for performing traffic safety and traffic analysis studies. Your main duties will include:
- Assisting project managers in the delivery of traffic engineering projects
- Performing traffic engineering design, including signing, pavement marking, traffic signals, roadway, parking and pathway lighting and ITS field equipment
- Performing traffic safety and traffic analysis studies
- Conducting synchro, vissim multimodal studies, including pedestrian and bicycle studies
