Job Responsibilities: As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager , you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of water and wastewater infrastructure in Georgia. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a project team for municipal water and wastewater studies, encompassing master plans, water distribution, sewer collection system hydraulic evaluations, water quality in distribution systems, and asset management.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams while collaborating with utilities to solve complex issues and develop capital improvement plans.
- Managing and leading technical tasks, developing scope/fee, and supporting business development activities, including proposal development.
- Showcasing polished professional communication skills, including technical writing and verbal presentation abilities.
Qualifications: To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in the water/wastewater engineering industry.
- Georgia Professional Engineer (PE) license
Preferred Skills: While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly desired:
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software, such as Innovyze products (InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSewer, InfoSWMM, InfoAsset Planner) or Bentley products (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS).
- Knowledge of GIS applications in water and wastewater planning.
