**Water Resources Practice Leader - Lead the Charge in Ecological and Stream Restoration**

Our esteemed client based in Baltimore is looking for an experienced Water Resources Practice Leader to head their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to manage projects that restore natural systems while fostering sustainable communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead water resource projects including stream restoration, stormwater management, scour analysis, flood studies, watershed plans, green infrastructure, and erosion/sediment control.
- Oversee design processes with innovative management practices (BMPs).
- Provide mentorship to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Supporting Staff and Clients and to nurture developing talent within the practice.
- Engage actively in business development (BD) efforts related to environmental services.
Required Skills & Experience:
* **Leadership:** Proven capability guiding teams towards delivering high-quality outcomes on complex water resource projects.
* **Project Management:** Demonstrated experience managing large-scale restorative designs from inception through completion.
* **Mentorship Abilities:** A commitment to develop junior staff by sharing knowledge gained over at least 12 years of professional industry experience.
* **Business Development Savvy**: Strong ability engage stakeholders as Subject Matter Expert (SME), expanding project opportunities effectively across Maryland's diverse landscapes
* Bachelor's Degree in civil or environmental engineering (or similar)
* Professional Engineer License: Active PE license holder authorized within MD essential for leading engineering work legally & ethically
* Floodplain analysis utilizing HEC-RAS software
* Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and GIS
