Water Resources Project Manager
Location: South Bend, IN
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
Role Overview:
As a Water Resources Project Manager, you'll lead and manage projects aimed at water conservation, flood control, and sustainable development in the South Bend area. Working closely with engineers, environmental scientists, and local stakeholders, you'll ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead water resource projects from planning through execution, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, environmental scientists, and construction crews.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are addressed and providing regular project updates.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Compliance & Permitting: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, securing necessary permits and approvals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, including detailed reports on project status, budget, and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in water resources management or related projects.
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of water resources, including hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage diverse teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
