Our client, a leading engineering firm across the US, is seeking a dynamic W/WW Group Lead to lead a team of engineers, spearhead innovative initiatives and manage water and wastewater projects from conception to successful completion. As the W/WW Group Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and supervision to a team of engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to define project objectives, requirements, and technical specifications.
-Aid in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities both internally and externally within the company to support the growth of the Water/Wastewater group.
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports, proposals, and other project documentation to ensure the highest quality.
- Finally, you will ensure that projects comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, with a strong commitment to safety and sustainability.
Skills Required
- A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in water and wastewater engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater engineering - including but not limited to WTP, WWTP, pump stations, lift stations, sewer, stormwater, etc.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of project management skills and ability to mentor a team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A PE License is preferred, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
