Job Description:
A mid-sized, 100% employee-owned engineering firm with a strong presence is seeking a Water Team Lead, to spearhead our water infrastructure projects throughout Texas as part of our growth strategy in San Antonio. This role is ideal for someone with a robust background in design and enjoys both a business development and a project management aspect in their role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the water team in San Antonio, driving the growth of the team and the firm's presence in the region.
- Oversee the designs and processes for water/wastewater, and stormwater projects, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with offices across Texas and other major hubs
- Engage in client interactions and building a book of business
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8 to 20 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in water/wastewater and stormwater collection systems.
- Previous consulting experience is essential.
- Experience in project management
- PE licensed in Texas
