What You'll Do

  • Produce detailed steel and concrete construction drawing sets using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks with minimal supervision.
  • Develop structural plans and details that align with architectural intent, building codes, and OSHA standards.
  • Apply BIM modeling protocols to ensure consistency, accuracy, and innovation across all project phases.
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to deliver coordinated, high-quality deliverables.
  • Support field work by visiting project sites to gather measurements and verify existing conditions-primarily within the industrial sector, including pulp and paper, food processing, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Contribute to a culture of mentorship by supporting junior team members and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Architectural Technology, Structural Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree is a plus).
  • 2-5 years of experience in structural drafting or detailing, preferably within industrial or commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is essential.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards, building codes, and OSHA requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited direction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and field measurements.
