Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination
- Assist Project Managers with the delivery of construction and service-based projects
- Coordinate with engineering and controls teams to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Review system designs, programming, and user interfaces, providing feedback where required
- Identify and communicate system deficiencies and support resolution
Project Planning & Delivery
- Support project kick-off meetings with internal teams
- Work closely with field teams to ensure design intent is successfully implemented
- Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure quality and compliance
- Collaborate with subcontractors and technical staff to maintain high standards of installation
Communication & Documentation
- Attend project meetings and support communication across stakeholders
- Coordinate with multiple trades to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders
- Participate in Health & Safety activities and ensure adherence to standards
Continuous Improvement & Team Contribution
- Identify training and development opportunities within the team
- Promote efficient working practices and process improvements
- Maintain a proactive, adaptable approach to workload and priorities
- Build strong working relationships with both internal teams and external clients
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or
- Associate degree / technical certification or
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Background in electronics, mechanical systems, or programming preferred
- Valid driver's license required
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and design
- Experience with Tridium (N4 or AX certification preferred)
- Familiarity with Distech Controls
- Experience programming controllers within at least one major OEM platform
- Ability to review system designs and operate independently
