Role Overview
This leadership opportunity is ideal for a seasoned electrical engineering professional with a deep focus on healthcare infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams on complex healthcare projects, in San Francisco, Oakland, and Los Angeles. The role combines technical design, client engagement, business development, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for large-scale hospital projects within HCAI jurisdiction.
- Serve as Engineer of Record or alternate on major healthcare projects.
- Manage long-term, complex projects, coordinating across disciplines and external partners.
- Promote innovation and technical excellence within the team.
- Integrate sustainable and decarbonization strategies into building designs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients to secure repeat business.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to procure new healthcare projects.
- Foster a culture of trust, openness, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical engineering and project management within California's healthcare sector.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Passion for sustainable development and industry innovation
- Active involvement in professional organizations is a plus.
