Role Overview
As part of the Capital Markets team, the Associate or Manager will support the successful execution of financing transactions across the company. The role offers exposure to a wide range of capital markets activities, including project finance debt, non‑recourse bonds, and corporate financings. Title and level are flexible based on experience.
Working on collaborative deal teams, this individual will be involved in financial modeling and analysis, capital provider due diligence, transaction documentation, and relationship management. Over time, the role provides a clear path toward leading financings and taking on increasing responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support capital formation and transaction execution, including financial modeling and analytical work
- Lead and support due diligence processes with lenders and investors
- Assist with the negotiation and execution of financing documentation through close
- Proactively identify and overcome execution issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external capital providers and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams including M&A, FP&A, Development, Procurement, Construction, and Operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes
- Uphold high ethical standards and contribute positively to company culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3-10+ years of experience with a sponsor, investor, lender, or advisor in power, infrastructure, data centers, or real estate
- Direct capital markets experience (e.g., project finance, leveraged finance, project bonds, CMBS)
- Transaction experience required; project finance debt experience strongly preferred
- Data center experience in an analytically rigorous environment preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; VBA a plus
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to take initiative
- Self‑motivated, high‑quality work ethic and a desire to continuously learn
Location & Compensation
- Locations: CA, NYC or Denver
- Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $165,000, plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits
- Compensation is tailored based on experience, location, and market benchmarks
