Building Enclosure Project Manager

A leading provider of testing, inspection, and consulting services within the built environment is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Manager to join their growing Building Science team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of new construction and existing building projects, with clear progression into technical leadership and client development.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering building enclosure consulting services across a range of project types. This position combines project management, technical delivery, and client-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support design consulting and peer reviews of building enclosure systems

  • Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals

  • Perform field testing, including water penetration and enclosure performance testing

  • Provide construction administration support, including site visits and inspections

  • Conduct forensic investigations and document existing building conditions

  • Assist with remediation design for enclosure systems

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects

  • Prepare clear, professional technical reports

  • Develop sketches and markups using Bluebeam or similar tools

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with 1+ year of experience in building enclosure consulting,
    or

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree

  • Strong understanding of building enclosure systems and construction practices

  • Experience managing projects from small to large scale

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

  • Comfortable working in both office and field settings, including at height

  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required

  • Valid driver's license

Preferred

  • Professional licensure (PE, RA, or equivalent)

  • Experience across a variety of building types

  • Familiarity with façade investigations and leak diagnostics

  • Knowledge of ASTM testing for air and water infiltration

  • Safety certifications (e.g., scaffold training)

  • Proficiency in Bluebeam
