A privately held, vertically integrated real estate development firm is expanding its Denver engineering team. Instead of advising the owner from the outside, you would sit on the owner's side of the table, helping shape decisions on multifamily communities from land acquisition through construction and operations.
The company handles nearly the entire development process in-house, including land acquisition, entitlements, engineering, construction, procurement, and property management. That means faster project cycles, more visibility into strategy, and a direct line to the people making investment decisions. Colorado is a priority growth market, with active projects across Aurora, Thornton, Longmont, Loveland, Monument, Colorado Springs, and Gypsum.
What you would do
- Support civil site design for workforce and attainable multifamily housing developments across Colorado.
- Contribute to grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout from due diligence through construction.
- Coordinate with in-house development, construction, and surveying teams as well as outside consultants and municipalities.
- See projects through the full lifecycle rather than handing off deliverables and moving on.
What we are looking for
- Civil engineering degree with site or land development exposure.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and related design tools.
- EI/EIT working toward PE, or a licensed PE, depending on level.
- Strong communication skills and an ownership mentality that fits a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- No real estate or developer-side experience required. Consulting engineers looking to move closer to the business are encouraged to apply.
