A nationally recognized energy and infrastructure firm is hiring a Director of Business Development to lead growth in its Transmission Line sector. This is a high-impact, remote role for a seasoned professional with deep market knowledge, strong utility relationships, and a proven ability to drive strategic partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Lead business development efforts for transmission line projects across the U.S.
- Expand existing client relationships and forge new strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align BD strategy with company goals.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Electrical Engineer with PE license preferred.
- Extensive experience in transmission line business development.
- Strong network across utilities and energy developers (e.g., ComEd, FPL, PepCo).
- Background with reputable T&D firms
- Entrepreneurial mindset-experience running an LLC or small business is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to relationship building.
