A leading engineering consultancy is looking to add a mid-level Electrical Engineer to its growing Mission Critical team, supporting large-scale hyperscale data center and high-performance infrastructure projects. This role sits within a specialized, design-focused group, offering the agility of a smaller team with the backing of a global engineering platform.
This is a strong opportunity for a technically driven engineer (4-8 years) looking to deepen their design expertise while gaining exposure to complex, high-impact projects and increasing client interaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the design and delivery of electrical systems for hyperscale data centers and mission critical facilities
- Work across the full project lifecycle, from concept through construction
- Perform power system analysis, including:
- Load calculations
- Short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies
- Equipment and feeder sizing
- Develop design deliverables (one-lines, layouts, construction documents) using Revit and AutoCAD
- Assist with specifications, technical documentation, and system selection
- Support site assessments and existing conditions analysis during pre-construction
- Participate in construction administration:
- Submittals and shop drawing reviews
- RFI responses
- Punch list and closeout support
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, structural, architectural)
- Interface with clients and project stakeholders on technical topics
- Design systems aligned with high-reliability, redundant data center environments (N, N+1, 2N)
What They're Looking For
- 4-8 years of electrical engineering experience
- Experience in data centers, mission critical, or complex infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong understanding of power distribution systems (MV/LV, UPS, generators, grounding)
- Familiarity with NEC and applicable codes
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- EIT required; PE (or on track) preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- Base: $120K - $180K
