Junior Structural Engineer
Company Summary: We are seeking an immediate hire to join a leading Structural Engineering company based in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a results-driven mindset, and a desire to contribute to an energetic and talented team.
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for:
- Assisting in drafting and designing plans for commercial projects under the guidance of senior engineers and the Project Manager (PM).
- Conducting preliminary wind load calculations and researching alternative products and materials.
- Reviewing building codes and standards to ensure compliance in design work.
- Supporting construction administration tasks, including field visits, addressing RFIs, and generating revisions.
- Maintaining project logs and providing regular updates to the PM and clients using project management software.
The Structural Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- 0-10 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field
- EIT or PE
- Engineering Bachelor's degree required
- Technical skills: experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Enercalc
