Onshore Wind Business Developer
The Senior Associate will support renewable energy project development activities from early-stage inception through to "ready-to-build" status. This position involves coordinating technical, environmental, and financial studies, managing permitting processes, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute development activities for assigned projects, ensuring progress from concept to construction-ready status.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants for preparation of technical, environmental, and financial studies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project partners, local communities, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee permitting processes and secure necessary approvals for project construction.
- Liaise with relevant government agencies for application submissions and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, finance, procurement, operations) to optimize project design and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure project development.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to engage with local governments and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with technical, environmental, and financial assessments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments to design optimal project schemes.
