Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Wet Utility Project Manager to join their team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing wet utility construction projects, including water, sewer, and storm drain systems. This role requires a proactive leader who can oversee all phases of project execution, from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee wet utility construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
- Resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in wet utility construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing water, sewer, and storm drain projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
