A leading engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Designer to join its growing team in Ohio. Position Summary:

The Civil Designer will play a key role in supporting civil engineering projects by producing high-quality design documents and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include preparing site development plans, grading and drainage layouts, utility designs, erosion and sediment control plans, and stormwater management systems. The role also offers exposure to stream restoration and water resource projects, providing a diverse and enriching experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed civil site designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Create grading, drainage, and utility plans for commercial, industrial, and institutional developments.
  • Assist in the design of stream restoration and water resource projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to project planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to site development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
