Position Details
Project Leadership & Coordination
- Drive VDC project execution, solving issues fast and ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Coordinate schedules, model deliverables, and cross‑discipline communication.
- Review client BIM requirements and guide project teams on compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate on BIM Execution Plans to meet all contractual obligations.
- Manage file sharing, model exchanges, secure access, and archiving for milestone deliverables.
- Build project‑specific Revit families using established content standards.
Technology & Quality Assurance
- Support setup and troubleshooting for production planning and tracking tools.
- Perform QA/QC checks on VDC team outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Research, test, and help roll out approved emerging technologies; sharing lessons learned along the way.
- Work with IT to ensure hardware/software is properly configured for project use.
- Provide end‑user support for ACC, Revit, Navisworks, and other VDC platforms.
Marketing & Visualization Support
- Contribute to the creation of graphics, animations, videos, and other visual materials for proposals and presentations.
- Help develop virtual design presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Offer input on RFP responses involving VDC tools and technology.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across disciplines.
- Proven ability to support or lead mid‑ to large‑scale VDC efforts and solve technical challenges.
- Hands‑on experience with BIM/VDC platforms (Autodesk Suite, Dynamo, Newforma Konekt, Revizto, Naviate, Stratus, etc.).
- Solid understanding of construction, fabrication workflows, and mechanical systems coordination.
- Ability to build, refine, and implement workflows that improve project efficiency.
- Strong aptitude for adopting new technologies and aligning them with industry standards.
- Proficiency in BIM content creation (RFAs).
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a technical field preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
