This role seeks an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator to support a growing studio in the Phoenix area. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and plays an active role in shaping how the firm positions itself, pursues new opportunities, and wins work.

You will collaborate closely with leadership, business development professionals, and project teams to develop a strong understanding of target markets, clients, and service offerings, helping communicate value effectively and competitively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pursuit efforts from early positioning through proposal development and interview preparation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define messaging, positioning, and win strategies
  • Translate complex technical and design concepts into clear, engaging narratives
  • Manage multiple concurrent pursuits in a deadline-driven environment
  • Participate in go/no-go decisions and broader pursuit strategy discussions
  • Develop high-quality client-facing materials, presentations, and marketing collateral
  • Provide insights on clients, competitors, industry trends, and market conditions to inform strategy

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing within the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry
  • Demonstrated success leading competitive pursuits and shaping brand positioning
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex information
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign required) with a strong visual/design sensibility

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
