Senior BAS Technician / Controls Engineer

Salary: Up to $130K + Benefits
The Opportunity
A leading building automation and systems integration business is expanding in Atlanta and hiring a Senior BAS Technician / Controls Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale commercial and mission-critical projects, taking ownership of programming, commissioning, and overall technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and commission BAS/DDC systems (Distech, Delta, Niagara N4)
- Lead projects from installation through to handover
- Troubleshoot and optimise live building systems
- Develop control sequences, graphics, and system integrations
- Support and mentor junior technicians
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Building Automation / HVAC Controls
- Strong hands-on experience with either:
- Distech Controls
- Delta Controls (DDC programming)
- Niagara N4
- Proven ability to program BAS systems from scratch
- Strong commissioning and troubleshooting experience
- Comfortable working in a client-facing, on-site environment
Desirable Experience
- Data center or mission-critical project experience
- Exposure to SCADA or EPMS systems
- OEM certifications (Distech, Delta, Niagara)
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience
