Position Title: Real Estate & Right of Way Assistant Project Manager
Summary:
Supports transmission-related real estate and right of way activities, focusing on securing land rights for infrastructure projects. Collaborates with internal teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of transmission initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing consultants for land acquisition and right of way activities.
- Support project siting, routing, and stakeholder engagement.
- Review environmental reports, legal documents, and property valuations.
- Coordinate survey permissions and temporary construction access.
- Maintain inventory records and process third-party encroachment requests.
- Approve expenditures related to land and legal services.
- Collaborate across planning, engineering, operations, and project management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Paralegal Studies, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in right of way acquisition or related utility/transportation projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects and external consultants.
- Proficiency in interpreting legal documents and property records.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and GIS tools.
- Willingness to travel within the service area.
- Preference for candidates based in Columbus, OH; hybrid and remote arrangements available.
