Bridge Project Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead and support structural design efforts across multiple concurrent infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review engineering plans for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other structural systems using concrete and steel.
- Ensure design quality through rigorous review and back-checking of engineering work.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure project alignment and effective communication.
- Manage technical documentation, including shop drawing reviews and field modifications.
- Apply current engineering standards and codes to ensure compliance and safety.
Requirements
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in structural design and engineering.
- Strong understanding of AASHTO specifications and LRFD design principles.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and MicroStation.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and other engineering tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong decision-making and communication skills.
