About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with experience in land development to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to impactful community‑shaping development work.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support site civil design for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial land development projects.
- Prepare and oversee production of grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater management systems, erosion control plans, and roadway design.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, subconsultants, and public agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review plans, reports, and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while providing guidance to junior engineers and CAD designers.
- Assist with permitting processes, entitlement packages, and agency review responses.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred but not required).
- 6+ years of civil engineering experience specifically focused on land development.
- Strong proficiency with Civil 3D (or equivalent) and relevant design software.
- Experience preparing full site development plan sets and coordinating across disciplines.
- Knowledge of local codes, standards, and permitting processes.
- PE license required or in progress (depending on region).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
