A leading specialist fire safety consultancy is seeking a Fire Protection Services Consultant to join its growing Brisbane team. This is an opportunity to work with a highly regarded, pure-play fire consultancy delivering technical excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects.
This firm provides end-to-end fire solutions including fire engineering, fire protection design, compliance, and advisory services across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and residential projects.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering fire protection solutions across design, advisory, and compliance projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering fire protection system design and consulting services across a variety of projects
- Conducting fire risk assessments and ensuring compliance with Australian codes and standards
- Preparing technical reports, drawings, and documentation for approvals
- Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and authorities
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
- Providing technical input on fire safety strategies and performance-based solutions
About You
- 3-8+ years' experience in fire protection consulting, engineering, or contracting
- Background in Mechanical, Fire, or Building Services Engineering (or similar)
- Strong understanding of NCC and relevant Australian Standards
- Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD/Revit is advantageous
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality technical work
