Their multidisciplinary team includes engineers, geologists, planners, environmental scientists, and surveyors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead geotechnical investigations and provide design recommendations for foundations, slopes, retaining structures, and other infrastructure.
Manage projects from planning and budgeting through analysis, reporting, and construction support.
Conduct and review seismic hazard assessments including liquefaction, settlement, and slope failure.
Oversee ground improvement solutions and ensure technical accuracy.
Mentor junior engineers and geologists, fostering professional development and knowledge transfer.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including geologists, environmental scientists, and civil engineers.
Support business development and client relationship management where needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- PE License in CA required.
GE License is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
Proficiency in geotechnical design and analysis tools.
Technical Expertise in:
Shallow and deep foundation design
Slope stability and retaining wall design
Seismic hazard evaluation
Ground improvement techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a multidisciplinary consulting environment.
Strong background in mentoring and developing early-career professionals.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
