What you'll be doing
- Supporting the delivery of municipal water and wastewater programs across our Florida client base
- Contributing to the design and construction of complex treatment and conveyance projects - including managing budgets, schedules, contractual deliverables, and QA/QC
- Leading civil design components for treatment facilities and conveyance infrastructure
- Engaging across the full project lifecycle - conceptual and preliminary design, site visits, fieldwork oversight, alternatives analysis, and reporting
- Producing civil drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Drafting technical memos, reports, and electronic deliverables
- Reviewing contractor submittals against plans and specs, and responding to RFIs
- Supporting permitting submittals and coordinating with regulatory and governmental agencies
- Participating in pilot testing, field activities, and site reconnaissance
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 6-14 years of hands-on civil engineering experience in a directly relevant setting
- Florida PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Previous experience working on water wastewater, conveyance, pump stations, water treatment projects
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking, problem-solving
- Working knowledge of local utility codes and the permitting process, with the ability to QC plans and specs against code
