The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Performing commissioning and optimizing energy systems for high-performing buildings
  • Leading field investigations and troubleshooting mechanical system issues
  • Providing technical guidance on MEP systems during design and construction phases
  • Supporting energy audits, feasibility studies, and system performance improvements
  • Acting as a liaison between engineers, contractors, and owners to ensure quality and alignment

The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer should have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • 6+ years of experience in MEP systems design, commissioning, or related consulting
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and central plant systems; healthcare facility experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
