The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for:
- Performing commissioning and optimizing energy systems for high-performing buildings
- Leading field investigations and troubleshooting mechanical system issues
- Providing technical guidance on MEP systems during design and construction phases
- Supporting energy audits, feasibility studies, and system performance improvements
- Acting as a liaison between engineers, contractors, and owners to ensure quality and alignment
The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon or ability to obtain within 12 months
- 6+ years of experience in MEP systems design, commissioning, or related consulting
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and central plant systems; healthcare facility experience preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
