Mechanical VDC Detailer
- Creating prefabrication drawings and 3D models for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and support systems
- Producing shop drawings, spool sheets, and material lists
- Reviewing project plans, contract drawings, and specifications
- Working closely with engineering, VDC, and prefab shop personnel
- Applying markups, redlines, and revisions
- Helping identify and resolve basic coordination or constructability issues
- Maintaining organized drawing sets and documentation
- Supporting shop and field staff with drawing related questions
- At least 2 years of plumbing or pipefitting field experience
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to grow your technical skills
- Solid communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with mechanical systems or prefabrication processes
- Exposure to commercial or industrial construction
- Software Experience: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCad, TrimbleMEP
