Planner (Instrumentation Control & Electrical)
Position Summary
This role is part of the Instrument, Control, and Electrical (ICE) team, responsible for developing maintenance plans and schedules, and providing technical planning support to production and engineering teams at the LNG Terminal.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily maintenance tasks, including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for ICE assets.
- Collaborate with Mechanical and HSSE teams to coordinate with Production and Jetty Operations for work planning and electronic work permit acquisition.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings to assign tasks, provide briefings, and coordinate ICE-MECH activities.
- Utilize SAP for monitoring and scheduling ICE-related work orders, maintaining master equipment lists, updating PM plans, and raising purchase requisitions for spare parts.
- Liaise with external authorities to obtain approvals for natural gas equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for safety inductions, site surveys, and execution of maintenance work.
- Review and validate Method Statements and Risk Assessments for planned jobs.
- Ensure proper job close-out and documentation in SAP.
- Raise purchase requisitions and define scope of supply and spare part specifications; work closely with Procurement to evaluate vendor quotes, manage service contracts, and track delivery of materials.
- Assist in maintenance budget planning, forecasting, and monitoring.
- Manage Jurong Island Pass sponsorship applications for external vendors.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years (Degree) or 8 years (Diploma) of experience in E&I maintenance planning or supervisory roles within oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Currently based in Singapore
