Position: Plumbing Designer

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Designer with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing plumbing systems for various types of buildings and projects. This role requires proficiency in relevant software and a thorough understanding of plumbing codes and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plumbing systems for commercial and residential buildings.
- Create detailed plumbing plans, specifications, and layouts using CAD software.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national plumbing codes and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate plumbing systems into overall building designs.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing plumbing systems and gather information for new designs.
- Prepare cost estimates and project budgets for plumbing systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during construction phases.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals related to plumbing systems.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in plumbing design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
