Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment plant projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of public utility infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality control standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local/state codes.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
- Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), and cost control.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
