Responsibilities
- Review project plans to ensure accuracy, identify gaps, and confirm timelines and costs align with guidelines; delegate tasks as needed.
- Serve as the main liaison between the company, clients, and vendors.
- Order and verify all materials are on-site, safely stored, and properly labeled before work begins.
- Supervise on-site skilled trades and subcontractors to ensure quality, timely, and budget-compliant work.
- Identify and resolve conflicts, coordinating with the Project Manager and client as necessary.
- Maintain client communication to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations.
- Track project stages, monitor progress and budgets, and adjust plans as needed.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment and equipment use.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with inspectors to meet city, county, and state requirements.
- Monitor the project schedule and update the Project Manager on progress.
Requirements
- Over 3 years of experience as a Superintendent. Ideally on restoration projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Proficient with computers, tablets, and construction management software.
- Deep understanding of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Must pass background and drug screening checks.
