Your Role
Lead and deliver Bushfire Hazard Assessments, Bushfire Management Plans and site-specific bushfire design advice for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
Liaise with planning teams, developers, local councils, and government authorities
Provide expert bushfire planning advice and contribute to project feasibility and design processes
Ensure compliance with relevant state planning instruments and bushfire legislation
Support the continued growth of the bushfire services capability through business development and relationship management
About You
5+ years' experience in bushfire consulting, bushfire planning, or land development-related roles
Strong understanding of bushfire risk assessment, Queensland planning frameworks, and AS 3959
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on development applications and approvals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ideally accredited or eligible for BPAD Level 2 or 3 (not essential for QLD work but beneficial)
