About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator with proven experience in substation projects to join our dynamic team in Baltimore. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and accurate development of bids and proposals for complex electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for substation construction and maintenance projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to develop competitive bids.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, labor rates, and material costs.
- Ensure all proposals are submitted on time and meet client expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, with a strong focus on substation projects.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
