Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects involving municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities, including treatment plant expansions, regional water quality initiatives, and advanced water reuse programs
- Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work with responsibility for budget management, schedule adherence, contractual compliance, and quality standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, as assigned
- Address and resolve complex technical and project-related issues through collaboration and negotiation with senior engineers, client representatives, and external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key personnel at client organizations and partner firms
- Prepare project proposals, participate in client interviews, and support contract negotiations following selection
- Ensure delivery of high-quality engineering services within established budget and schedule constraints
- Identify the need for specialized support and oversee the work of subconsultants
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- Active registration as a Professional Engineer
- Approximately 8-15 years of directly relevant experience in wastewater engineering, including treatment facilities and collection systems
- At least 5 years of experience leading or managing engineering projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
