We are currently working with a well-established commercial construction firm to identify an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in healthcare construction. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Austin, Texas, offering the chance to lead impactful projects in active healthcare environments.
About the Role
As Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations on healthcare construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex builds within live medical settings, ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to ongoing healthcare services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading field teams and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinating MEP systems and managing ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) and interim life safety protocols.
- Maintaining strong communication with healthcare staff and stakeholders to support uninterrupted facility operations.
- Managing schedules, site logistics, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
