Assistant Project Manager - Data Centers
We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex, mission‑critical construction projects, with a primary focus on data centers. The ideal candidate will bring experience from at least one of the following highly technical sectors: data centers, semiconductor facilities, hospitals, industrial projects, commercial buildings, or multifamily developments.
This role offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership position while working alongside seasoned project teams on fast‑paced, technically advanced projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all phases of construction, from pre‑construction through close‑out.
- Support schedule development, budget tracking, and progress reporting.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation with precision and timeliness.
- Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, engineers, and owners to maintain alignment across all project activities.
- Help track procurement, delivery, and installation of key materials and equipment.
- Participate in site walks, quality checks, safety audits, and coordination meetings.
- Ensure project compliance with contractual requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
- Identify risks early and support mitigation strategies to keep work on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience supporting construction projects in one or more of the following sectors:
- Data centers
- Semiconductor facilities
- Hospitals/healthcare
- Industrial environments
- Commercial construction
- Multifamily developments
- Familiarity with MEP systems, mission‑critical infrastructure, or highly coordinated building environments preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
