Bridge Project Manager

An established transportation engineering firm is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to join its team within the Western Pennsylvania region. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a challenging, fast‑paced, and collaborative environment and is looking to continue growing into a well‑rounded professional within the transportation infrastructure field.

As a member of the bridge engineering group, you will contribute to a variety of structural and transportation projects while working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning, analysis, and design of bridge and structural components within transportation projects.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Support project tasks using existing engineering experience while gaining new skills through hands‑on design and production work.
  • Assist in preparing calculations, plans, and technical documents under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in technical problem‑solving, applying engineering judgment to develop practical and constructible solutions.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to develop into a well‑rounded engineer capable of contributing to a broad range of infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Structural emphasis preferred).
  • Prior experience or internship exposure in bridge, structural, or transportation engineering is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, methodologies, and design standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high‑energy, collaborative project environment.
