Overview
Are you a highly technical scheduler with strong communication skills and a track record of leading teams on complex projects? This opportunity is for a Director of Scheduling to lead and elevate the planning and scheduling function across a portfolio of large-scale data center construction projects.
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of scheduling strategy across a business unit, driving consistency, accuracy, and performance across multiple projects. This role blends technical expertise with leadership, requiring someone who can both operate at a high level and mentor teams on the ground.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, project teams, and clients to ensure schedules are robust, risks are identified early, and delivery stays on track.

You will:

- Provide coaching and development to schedulers at all levels
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Use data and insight to drive decision-making and improve outcomes
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all planning and scheduling activities across a portfolio of projects
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance for scheduling
- Ensure consistent use of CPM scheduling techniques, reporting, and update processes
- Identify risks within project schedules and escalate concerns to senior leadership
- Review and provide input into project pursuits, including RFP responses and fee proposals
- Lead the scheduling input into strategic planning at a business unit level
- Monitor project performance and recommend corrective actions where needed
- Support customer satisfaction by ensuring reliable and transparent scheduling outputs
- Manage workload across the scheduling team, balancing capacity and project demands
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling tools, processes, and systems
- Act as a senior point of contact for scheduling across internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, mentor, and retain scheduling talent within the team
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team environment
- Align team objectives with wider business strategy and goals
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in construction scheduling, with leadership responsibilities
- Strong experience delivering hyperscale data center or mission critical projects
- Professional certifications (AACEi, PMI, CMAA, AGC or similar) are preferred
- Equivalent experience will also be considered
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and resource planning
- Advanced expertise in CPM scheduling and schedule analysis
- Strong knowledge of productivity metrics, manpower planning, and cash flow forecasting
- Proven ability to manage scheduling across multiple large-scale projects or programs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coach and develop schedulers across all experience levels
- Experience implementing and improving scheduling systems and tools (e.g. Primavera P6)
- Capable of standardizing processes while remaining flexible to project-specific needs
