My client, a respected and forward-thinking engineering firm, is seeking a Licensed Electrical Design Engineer (PE) to join their Baltimore office. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects.
- Produce high-quality construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and system coordination studies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Engage with clients to understand project goals and provide expert guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical design for building systems.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical analysis tools such as SKM or ETAP.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable codes.
- LEED project experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- U.S. work authorization required.
